City BBQ is a barbecue chain with a restaurant on North Thompson Lane. Its site blocked our requests, so we could not read its hours; the state inspected the kitchen in August 2026.

Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q is a barbecue chain. The Murfreesboro restaurant on North Thompson Lane holds restaurant and bar permits and was inspected in August 2026. Its location page would not load for us.

Mission BBQ on Medical Center Parkway is a barbecue chain that also caters, using the same phone line. Its page says it closes on eight major holidays and closes early six days a year.

Rick’s BBQ has a shop on Warrior Drive that the state inspected in April 2026. We found no site of its own.

Single Tree BBQ on Old Fort Parkway was inspected in July 2026. Its website blocked our requests, so we could not read its hours or menu.

Slick Pig Bar-B-Q lists two restaurants, in Murfreesboro and in Smyrna, Tennessee. The Murfreesboro restaurant on East Main Street posts its menu as a download and takes orders online and for catering.

Whitt’s Barbecue is a Tennessee barbecue chain that says it has served hickory-smoked meats and homemade sides since 1978. The Murfreesboro menu includes sandwiches, plates, ribs, meat by the pound, loaded potatoes and family packs.
