Easter in Murfreesboro 2027: egg hunts, brunch and services

Last checked Oct. 19, 2026. This page is updated each year at the same address. Details come from the city’s calendar, Saint Rose of Lima and Rutherford County. Where a 2027 date is not out yet, we say which year a detail is from and never guess the new one.

Easter 2027 falls on Sunday, March 28, early in the year and right before Murfreesboro’s spring break (March 29 to April 2). Egg hunt dates for 2027 had not been announced when we checked in October; below is what ran in 2026, so you know what to watch for.

Egg hunts

The city’s underwater egg hunt

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation’s Underwater Egg Hunt sends children into the pool at the Patterson Park indoor water park to collect eggs. The city ran it on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 9 a.m. to noon, for $5, with online registration. Watch the city’s Parks and Recreation calendar for the 2027 date, or call 615-895-5040.

Church and neighborhood hunts

Churches, businesses and neighborhoods hold their own hunts in the weeks before Easter. None had posted 2027 dates when we checked. We add hunts to this page when the organizer publishes the date, time, place and ages on its own website. Hosting one? Send us the details.

Easter services

Murfreesboro’s churches post Holy Week and Easter schedules in March. For example:

Holy Week and Easter times are posted on the parish’s Mass times page and in its bulletin. Call 615-893-1843.

Want your church’s Easter times listed? Send them to us with a link to your church’s own page.

Easter brunch

Restaurants announce Easter brunch menus and reservations on their own websites, usually in March. We list them here only once the restaurant publishes them. Our brunch guide lists Murfreesboro restaurants that serve brunch every weekend, with links to their menus.
