Juneteenth, the day before
Cultural Arts Murfreesboro’s free Juneteenth Celebration fills Bradley Academy Museum and Cultural Center, 415 S. Academy St., and three surrounding blocks. In 2026 it ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 20, with food vendors, artists, live music, dancing and a kids’ zone. The 2027 date had not been posted when we checked; Juneteenth itself is Saturday, June 19, 2027.
Father-daughter dance
The city’s Daddy Daughter Dance is a spring event, not a Father’s Day one: on March 14, 2026, dads and father figures brought their daughters to Patterson Park Community Center to dress up, eat and dance, for $20 a person. Watch the city’s calendar for 2027.
