Murfreesboro Saturday Market

The Saturday Market fills the streets around the courthouse every Saturday morning from May through October, rain or shine. Main Street Murfreesboro says it sells locally grown produce, locally raised beef, poultry and pork, fresh eggs and baked goods, with artisans, crafters and local musicians each week. The 2026 season is full; the market is not taking new vendors.

  • Last two dates this year: Saturday, Oct. 24, and Saturday, Oct. 31, 8 a.m. to noon.
  • Stop at the information tent for a loyalty card; Main Street holds a drawing each month for vendor gift cards.
  • The market is on the new Tennessee Farmers Market Trail, one of five Middle Tennessee markets on it.
  • Sign up for the weekly newsletter on the market page, which also lists every full-season vendor with contact details.

Rutherford County Farmers Market

The county’s market has run at the Lane Agri-Park since 1975 and is producer-only: vendors from more than a dozen Middle Tennessee counties sell what they grow or make, including fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, baked and canned goods, flowers, plants, shrubs and trees.

  • Hours: 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesdays and Fridays through the last Friday in October (Oct. 30 this year), with some Tuesday evening hours from 2 to 7 p.m. From November to April it opens on Fridays only. The market posts its winter hours and closures on its email list.
  • Paying: cash, credit, debit and SNAP/EBT. Participating vendors take WIC vouchers in July and August.
  • Extras: indoor and open-air space, plenty of parking, bike racks and restrooms. Master Gardeners of Rutherford County answer questions in the demonstration garden from 9 a.m. to noon.
